Аннотация	During an investigation of apple fruits diseases in Krasnodar Region, the 31 causative agents of flyspeck were isolated, three of which were selected for detailed study. Based on cultural and morphological characteristics two fungal isolates were identified as Schizothyrium wisconsinense and one isolate as S. cylindricum. Phylogenetic analysis using concatenated sequences of internal transcribed spacer ( ITS) , translation elongation factor ( TEF) and actin ( ACT) loci further confirmed the morphological identification of the fungi. To our knowledge, this is the first report of flyspeck disease caused by these pathogens in Russia.
